February 25, 2004 Man this one was hard. I found (through experimentation) that the only way to make a "film noir" type of feeling is to clutter the frame with cabinets, desks, scotch, etc. Also, it took me quite a while to figure out how to leverage my meager art skills into making Satan have "40's hair". For those who are interested, Virgil was Dante's guide through the Inferno in "The Divine Comedy." The Virgil in the story was the Roman poet Virgil, and Publius Vergilius Maro was his full name. And before you try to send me spelling corrections: Yes, v*E*rgilius was his formal name and v*I*rgil was his shortened name. -ATW
