I admit this is probably my strangest set up for running gags, but I just keep coming up with new strip ideas revolving around the King of Sweden just hanging out on the couch.

And yes, the present king ascended to the throne upon the death of his grandfather, King Gustav VI Adolf. His father (Prince Gustaf Adolph) had died in 1947 in an airplane accident.
