If you're wondering why the Pun Paladin has such skimpy armor, the answer is two-fold:

1) There is a long-standing tradition in D&D of female characters wearing "bikini-mail". Which is funny cause "skimpy armor" is not the sort of thing you want to have. The whole point is to cover as much of your body as possible, right?

2) I, the artist, am a guy.

That pretty much covers it.
