I've had that line "Now this here, son, is what we call 'the pile'" ready for some time now, but I was never able to build a joke around it. Also I had the line "What do they say about any landing you will eventually leak out of?" and couldn't build a joke around it either. So I put them together in the hopes that two somewhat funny lines make up for a weak punch-line. Time will tell.
