So I'm playing World of Warcraft now. It's very entertaining and I'm pretty hooked.

Overall, I feel guilty about liking it. As many of you know, I used to work for Blizzard (I was one of the devs on Warcraft II). I had a pretty rough time there. I had major conflicts with a lot of the other folks there. Also, I burnt out in a big way after six solid months of Warcraft II occupying every waking moment of my life.

So for a long time I avoided Blizzard products for the obvious reason that it reminded me of the most stressed-out period of my life.

And now here I am playing World of Warcraft. I looked in the manual and read the credits. I recognize a lot of the names. And some of them I remember fondly, and a couple I remember being unmitigated assholes.

Oh well. I'm not part of that anymore and haven't been for almost a decade.
