Happy 4th of July everyone! Ironically, the strip running on the 4th of July ends up not having any Americans at all in it. But hey. It's the date on the newspaper in panel 6. How could I resist?

The 4th of July is a pretty big deal here in Boston as you can imagine. Boston was a major patriot hangout back in the day. So it ought to be a real trip!

Also, as an added bonus, NASA will blow the shit out of a comet today! They like to look at it as science. I choose to see it as the first time in human history that a ballistic weapon was fired from a spaceship. My way of looking at it is WAY cooler.

Remember my motto: Any experiment that leaves a crater is a success. And this experiment is actually INTENDED to leave a crater. I could KISS those guys!
