In case you didn't already know, all four of the movies mentioned in today's strip are directly based on Shakespeare plays.

"10 Things I Hate About You" is a nearly-direct remake of "The Taming of the Shrew"
"West Side Story" is, of course, "Romeo and Juliet"
"Strange Brew" is "Hamlet". Don't believe me? Watch it again.
"The Lion King" is also "Hamlet", though more obviously so than "Strange Brew".

And don't talk to me about "Kimba the White Lion". Disney may have ripped elements of that off, but "The Lion King" is Hamlet first and foremost.
