I'm sorry folks. As you have noticed, I haven't updated in a while. I have no good excuse. I just don't have the interest or energy. I couldn't even bring myself to make some clever cheesecake or anything. I just don't want to work on it.

No update today. I spent my evening at the hospital, getting my sprained ankle looked at. Good news: the loud "pop" I heard when I twisted it, followed by the pain so intenst that I almost threw up, was just ligiments snapping. They'll repair themselves. No bone problems.

Also, there will be no update this Monday or Thursday either. My mom and step-father will be in town and I'll be playing host.

It didn't come up enough to be a recognizeable running-gag, but whenever someone hits someone else in C&A, I use the sound effect "SCHMAKK!!". So I thought it would be appropriate to have a kiss sound effect be "SCHMOOCH!!".

Drawing people kissing is hard.

TRIVIA TIDBIT:

The Jenn - Quantum Cop romance plot was something I kind of threw in. I realized that I had no love plot at all. Anywhere in the strip. And no real potential for one, with all four primary characters in solid relationships with each other. So I kind of looked over the minor characters and the only grown woman was Jenn. So I had to pick a suitable male character for her to have a love plot with. I considered Lord Milligan for quite a while, but finally settled on Quantum Cop.

I did eventually get to use a Lord Milligan - Jenn love plot, in a way. I nthe Mountain of Mages story arc, Evil Grand Vizier Lord Milligawain and Queen Jena end up together.
