Etymology is fun. At least, I've always liked it. I love it when words have completely different meanings than they did when they were invented.

As to Satan's history, well she's certainly done all those things at some time or another. And as I pointed out once in a strip long long ago, Satan would certainly be classified as a Christian.

Besides, it gave me an excuse to draw Satan as a Nun. That's probably about the most blasphemous thing in the strip thus far.
