Anyone who knows me personally can tell you that I'm one of those crazy cat people. And, for those who don't know, I actually do have a cat named Cujo that the Cujo of C&A is based on. I also have another cat, Blofeld, who is not featured in the strip.

I say "Who's your daddy" to my cats all the time. It's sort of a habit I picked up for some reason. And yes, I have been known, on occasion, to call Cujo "The Fluffalumpus". In fact, I have a number of idiotic nicknames for my boys. I believe you can judge someone's cat-lunacy by the number of stupid nicknames they have for their cats. So, for those who are curious:

Cujo: Cuje, The Cuje-man, Cujito, Numero Uno Gato, Big Fella, Big Guy, Gato Grande, The Fluffalumpus, Fat-Ass, The Bad One.

Blofeld: Blowie, The Bloid, Blofaloid, Blofalito, Little Feller, Dumb-Shit, Shit-For-Brains, My Buddy, The Good One.

The "Good One" / "Bad One" designations refer to their bathroom habits. Now that Cujo is over 10 years old, I have *finally* trained him to piss in the cat box (as opposed to the carpet).
