December 14, 2005 It always irritated me when something everyone wants to happen in a strip or TV show happens, then they "buy it back" by making it a dream or a parallel dimension or a "what if" story. The classic case of this is the numerous times Superman has married Lois Lane. So, I have some quasi-exciting news. We are about to release a new version of Gametable. (wild applause) We'll be doing a test of the Release Candidate this Friday (playing a D&D session with it. How better to test it?) and if all goes well, it should be up on Saturday. Though most people won't know about it till Monday when the comic newspost will announce it properly. There are a ton of new features and bug fixes. Most of the things people have been screaming for are there. This includes Hex Mode, ability to add new Pogs to your pogs panel during runtime, a ruler tool, Save and Open functionality (instead of just auto-saving on exit), a Rect tool, and a bunch of other cool stuff. You won't be disappointed. :) -ATW |
